about Brendan Hunt and the show:

Brendan Hunt Five Years in AmsterdamA Chicago native and ISU alum, Brendan Hunt's post-Normal path has taken many unexpected twists. After co-founding the critically acclaimed Wax Lips Theatre Company, Brendan moved to Amsterdam to perform with the notorious Boom Chicago Comedy Theatre, where he would end up staying for five years. This led to the creation of his accurately titled one-man show "Five Years In Amsterdam." The show has been performed in six cities across the world, including a successful run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and was a selection at the 2007 HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado. He currently resides in Los Angeles.

Brendan was one of the co-founders of Theatre of Ted at Illinois State University.

Note: Brendan will also be giving a symposium for students and faculty on Friday, February 13 at 1:30 pm in Kemp Auditorium. And he'll be participating at Theatre of Ted on the night of February 14.

This event is part of the Fine Arts Festival sponsored by Theatre of Ted.
