Event:

Daughters of the Stars at the ISU Planetarium

Description:

The Illinois State University Planetarium is pleased to offer 'Daughters of the Stars', premiering September 25 and running through November 21.

Show times are Friday evenings at 7:30 PM and Saturdays at 2 PM. There will be no showing of 'Daughters of the Stars' on October 23-24.

The earliest inhabitants of North America told stories that were quite different from those of their European counterparts. 'Daughters of the Stars' showcases legends about the night sky as told by Native Americans from Alaska to Mexico.

Admission to 'Daughters of the Stars' is $4 for adults, $3 for children ages 5-12 and seniors, and $2 for children ages 3-4.

The ISU Planetarium is located under the white domed roof at the eastern end of Felmley Hall of Science. Felmley Hall is located on the northeast corner of the ISU campus at the intersection of School Street and College Avenue. Free parking is available a short distance from the ISU Planetarium in University parking lot F-67, located on the east side of School Street.

For more information, please call the Planetarium’s Skyline at (309) 438-5007 or visit our web site at http://www.phy.ilstu.edu/~trw/planet.html
