Event:

Swing Dance at ISU Charleston Lesson

Description:

Illinois State Swing Dance will be holding a Saturday night dance, November 7th at 7:00pm. The lesson will last about an hour. Mary will be teaching the basics of charleston, an 8-count swing dance! After the lesson we encourage everyone to dance and socialize until the night ends at 11:00pm

We will cover all the essentials to get you guys started off on the right foot, and keep you on beat. Don't worry if you missed previous dances or haven't danced before. After the lesson, there is open dancing to practice what you have learned and socialize until 11:00pm.
No need to bring your own partner, but we encourage you to bring friends.
Again, no prior experience needed. Come and have fun with us!

This could be a chance for you to get dressed up, but there is no set dress-code, so wear what you want!

Tell your friends, family, people from other schools...this event is open to the public and a great chance to learn a new dance for free.

Thank you to all who have been supporting our swing dances the past year, attendance has been great!
